A team of Ludwig post-docs and students spent a day in a busy Oxford shopping centre - giving shoppers an interactive introduction to cancer biology and research.

6 Ludwig Oxford researchers standing by their 'coconut shy' public engagement activity at the Oxfordshire Science FestivalChildren and adults had a go at targeting cancer cells on our coconut shy: a fun activity with a serious message. People could also make colourful cell models to learn about the functions of different parts and how they can go wrong in cancer.
