We are seeking to recruit a Senior Group Leader with research interests in cancer epigenetics. As a Group Leader in Cancer Epigenetics, you will lead a significant research group at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. This position benefits from substantial core funding which will enable you to build, develop and manage a successful research team. You will supplement this core funding with successful grant applications to enable you to further grow your group, develop a novel research programme and produce measurable scientific output, including publications in high impact journals. As a recognised authority in the field of Epigenetics you will contribute to the strategic direction of the Ludwig Institute Oxford branch and create productive collaborative relationships within the University and beyond.

It is essential that you hold a relevant PhD/DPhil with proven significant post-qualification research experience. The successful candidate will have a research proposal that is complementary to the Ludwig Institute’s research themes and aims in cancer epigenetics. You will be experienced in leading a successful and novel research programmes as well as managing research staff and PhD students. A successful track record of attracting funding and managing budgets as well as evidence of an established international publication record is crucial to the role.
