I studied for a BSc in biochemistry at SiChuan University and did my MSc at Peking Union Medical College/Chinese Academy of Medical Science. After being awarded a bursarship from the Imperial Cancer Research Fund (ICRF, now Cancer Research UK), I did my PhD at University College London. I did a one year post-doc at the Biomedical Research Centre, University of Dundee, before joining Professor Xin Lu’s group at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in 1993 as a scientific officer.

I provide colleagues in the group with technical support and this contribution is shown in several recent publications.
