On Saturday 14th September 2018 12.30-4 pm, the Old Road Campus Research Building (ORCRB) will open to the public as part of the Oxford Open Doors scheme.

The ORCRB, housing the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, the Jenner Institute, the Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC), the Department of Oncology, the CRUK Oxford Centre, the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics, and the NIHR Oxford BRC will open to the public as part of the Oxford Open Doors scheme run by the Oxford Preservation Trust.

Meet the scientists and the labs where amazing science is done to develop tomorrow’s medicine. The Old Road Campus houses institutes that fight cancer, develop vaccines, and understand genetics. Learn about our cutting-edge research through hands-on family-friendly activities. See real laboratories with a DNA extraction robot in action and fluorescent fish under the microscope (>16yr). Please contact Martin Christlieb for more information.

Our neighbour, the Big Data Institute will also be open. For more information, see their event page.

Cake will be on sale in support of the Churchill Partners and CRUK.
