The Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research are seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to study epigenetic mechanisms in Cancer. The project will apply recently developed state-of-the-art DNA methylation sequencing technologies to analyse patient samples from a unique experimental medicine clinical trial of immunotherapy in oesophageal cancer, with the aim of uncovering epigenetic mechanisms in tumour biology and responses to cancer therapy. The position is based in the labs of Prof Xin Lu and Dr Chunxiao Song.

The postholder will have a PhD (or be close to completing) in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, chemistry or related science degree. Experience in next-generation sequencing and molecular biology techniques are essential.
