Ehsan Khalili

Post-doctoral Fellow

I study and analyse epigenetic modification of DNA and RNA, and their role in cancer initiation, progression and drug resistance. I assess the efficacy of epigenetic therapy on cancer treatment. My research focuses on the targeting DNA and RNA editing enzymes with epidrugs.

I obtained my BSc and PhD in Biochemistry at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and Tehran University of Medical Sciences(TUMS), where I studied the epigenetic modification of genes that are involved in cancer progression. I also investigated the mechanisms of transcriptional regulation by Long non-coding RNAs.
