RESEARCH INTERESTS
Tumor microenvironment consists of a dynamic ecosystem of different cells, including immune cells, and immunotherapy is one of the main pillars of treating cancer along with chemotherapy and radiotherapy; therefore, understanding how immune cells’ function affects tumor cell growth or eradication is essential to predict the patient's outcome after treatment. My research interest is to study the mechanism by which epigenetic enzymes control immune cells’ function, especially in the context of cancer.
BACKGROUND
I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology Health Science from the University of Bishops (Canada) and PhD in Immunology from the University of Sherbrooke (Canada).
