Grade 7: £32,817 – £40,322 p.a.

Ludwig Oxford and the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics are searching for a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to work on developing and optimising state-of-the art orthotopic xenograft models in the bowel to generate a robust and reproducible platform of human and mouse syngeneic xenograft models. Our aim is to identify novel insights into cancer initiation and develop new cancer therapeutic strategies. The position is based in the labs of Prof Xin Lu and Prof Simon Leedham.

The successful candidate will hold or be close to completing a PhD in molecular/cell biology or other relevant subject. Experience of cell culture and a personal home office license (or equivalent) is essential, experience of xenograft work and/or orthotopic tumour models would be advantageous.
