Laboratories at Ludwig Oxford have been awarded a Silver certificate for sustainability following the Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF).

Congratulations to all the staff and students at Ludwig Oxford who have worked hard to improve efficiency and sustainability in the laboratories by reducing single-use plastics and working to keep fume cupboard sashes closed when not in active use. The laboratory support and management team have led this initiative and have created systems for communal equipment booking, resilient monitoring systems to protect high value samples and leveraging recycling waste streams made available by the University.

This is an important first step in improving the sustainability of Ludwig Oxford and demonstrates our commitment to working with the Environmental Sustainability team at the University of Oxford towards future goals.
