Congratulations to Richard White who has been successful in the 2023 University recognition exercise.

The University of Oxford has conferred the title of Full Professor on Ludwig Oxford member Richard White. Richard is Professor of Genetics and his research focuses on gaining a deeper understanding of basic cancer biology, believing it to be central to eventual translation to the clinic.

Professor White’s research team have made discoveries about how neural crest programmes in melanoma affect response to oncogenes, how the anatomic position of the cell determines which oncogenes the cell responds to, and how microenvironmental cells such as adipocytes can promote metastasis.

Congratulations to Richard!
