The Royal Society of Biology has recognised Benjamin Schuster-Boeckler as a Fellow in their January 2025 nominations round. The Society's mission is to be a unifying voice for biology for the public benefit; to provide impartial evidence-based advice; to raise professional standards; to support biologists throughout their careers; to engage the public with our work; to support the bioscience community and to provide events and other fora for information exchange in the biosciences.
Benjamin has held a long-standing interest in understanding the causes and consequences of mutation rate heterogeneity. His research group have recently focused on analysing the influence of different DNA modifications on mutability, and describing how DNA replication changes the distributions of mutations in cancer genomes.

Congratulations to Ben!
