New Public Engagement Game for Ludwig Researchers
On 29th and 30th January 2014, the ORCRB atrium was turned in to a mini science fair to test the latest games developed by the NDM public engagement teams. Dr Kimberley Bryon-Dodd, Ludwig Oxford's Scientific Communications Manager had developed a new card game that highlighted research taking place at the Ludwig Institute, Oxford. A team of Ludwig researchers then tested the game on staff working at ORCRB, during their lunch break.
The game, which involves dice and cards featuring researchers, demonstrates how lifestyle choices can affect your likelihood of developing cancer. The game was well received and the volunteers are now looking forward to playing the game with children at the upcoming NDM Family Event in February.
