Françoise Howe
OxCODE Scientific Coordinator
PROFessional Services role
I coordinate the Oxford Centre for Cancer Early Detection and Prevention (OxCODE). This involves managing key early detection and prevention research projects across Oxford, promoting our success through communications and providing scientific grant writing support.
Background
I did my PhD and post-doc with Prof. Jane Mellor in the Department of Biochemistry, Oxford. My research focused on the role of chromatin and antisense transcription in the regulation of gene transcription, using yeast as a model organism.
