The prestigious Myron Gordon Award is presented once every three years at each International Pigment Cell Conference to recognize one or more scientists for distinguished and outstanding contributions to the pigment cell biology field.

In 2017 the joint awardees were Colin Goding from Ludwig Oxford, and Emi Nishimura, Tokyo Medical and Dental University Japan. The awards were announced at the recent International Pigment Cell Conference held in Denver, Colorado.
