The Graduate Studies Committee awards prizes each year to current or recently graduated students of NDM supervisors on the basis of their publication record, the impact and novelty of their research, references, and the impact of their research within the department. Luca Tordella (Xin Lu, Ludwig) was awarded for significant contributions to the field of cancer research through his work on the tumour suppressor ASPP2. Part of his impressive work has already been published in high impact journals.
