Ludwig Oxford’s Helen Byrne has been recognised for her contributions and major efforts in the field of mathematical biology

The Honorary Doctorate at Chalmers is awarded as recognition of a particularly eminent and substantial professional achievement linked to areas of competence at Chalmers. Each year, the title of honorary doctor, is conferred upon academics who do not have a Swedish doctorate and yet whose achievements should be recognised.

Professor Helen Byrne is awarded an honorary doctorate for her important contributions in mathematical biology, particularly modelling tumour growth and treatment response.

We are delighted to see Helen being recognised for her achievements in bridging the gap between theory and application, setting a new standard in mathematical tumour modelling.

Congratulations to Helen!
