Congratulations to Ludwig Oxford’s Mads Gyrd-Hansen, who was selected by the European Molecular Biology Organization to join its Young Investigator Programme, which supports researchers under the age of 40 who have established their first research labs within the past four years.

Gyrd-Hansen joined Ludwig Oxford in October 2013. His research focuses on pro-inflammatory signaling and how it is regulated in innate immune responses and cancer. Prior to joining Ludwig he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Cancer Research in London.
