Laboratories at Ludwig Oxford have been re-awarded their silver certificate for sustainability by the Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF)

Congratulations to the laboratory technical team at Ludwig Oxford, who have retained their silver certificate from the Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF) in work led by Senior Laboratory Manager Stan Ng.

Sustainability within a laboratory setting is vital for sustainable research and is increasingly rewarded by funding bodies. Indeed, the Wellcome Trust, UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) have signed the Concordat for Environmental Sustainability of Research and Innovation Practice. By working to coordinate the Ludwig Oxford sustainable lab focus, the laboratory technical team have kept access to such important funding bodies open.

Congratulations to the team!
