Grade 7: £32,236 - £39,609 p.a.

We are searching for a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to work on developing and applying mouse xenograft models of colorectal cancer and metastasis. The successful applicant will work to apply these models in a variety of applications including, but not limited to: novel agent preclinical drug testing through the CRUK ACRCelerate project, understanding tissue compartment crosstalk, epithelial stem cell dynamics, microbiota and the role of infection in epithelial cell transformation. The position is based in the labs of Prof Xin Lu and Prof Simon Leedham.

The successful candidate will hold or be close to completing a PhD in molecular/cell biology or other relevant subject. Experience of cell culture and a personal home office license (or equivalent) is essential, experience of xenograft work and/or orthotopic tumour models would be advantageous.
