The ORCRB will open to the public on 13th September as part of Oxford Open Doors.

On Saturday 13 September, the Old Road Campus Research Building (ORCRB) will welcome visitors as part of Oxford Open Doors - a city-wide celebration of heritage, culture, and innovation organised by the Oxford Preservation Trust.

From 12:00 to 16:00, guests are invited to step inside one of Oxford’s leading biomedical hubs and discover the cutting-edge research taking place at the Old Road Campus. Opened in 2007, the ORCRB spans over 15,000 square metres, and houses state-of-the-art laboratories, advanced imaging suites, and specialised research equipment.

Whether you're curious about cancer research, vaccine development, or the science behind regenerative medicine, this is your chance to meet the scientists behind the breakthroughs and see the labs where it all happens.

Representatives from the Centre for Medicines Discovery, Institute of Developmental & Regenerative Medicine (IDRM), The Jenner Institute, The Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, The Department of Oncology, The Centre for Immuno-Oncology, and others will be running interactive science stalls, guided lab tours, and hands-on activities for all ages.

Join us to discover how our research is helping to advance the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease.
