We’re delighted to share that Richard White has been recognised with a Teaching Excellence Award from the Medical Sciences Division. This award celebrates outstanding contributions to teaching and mentorship and highlights the vital role supervisors play in shaping the academic and personal development of their students.
Nominated by members of the White Lab, including Victoria Macera and Zeynep Ozturk, the award acknowledges Richard’s exceptional commitment to fostering a supportive research environment.
A ceremony will be held to celebrate this year’s awardees across a number of categories, including Project Awards, Learning Support Awards, and Career Achievement Awards, bringing together educators and researchers from across the Division.
Our huge congratulations to Richard on this achievement, and to all those recognised in this year’s Medical Sciences Teaching Excellence Awards!
About the Teaching Excellence awards
The Teaching Excellence Awards are part of the Division’s broader strategy to promote educational quality and innovation. The Excellent Supervisor Award, in particular, recognises those who go above and beyond in their supervisory roles and whose efforts might otherwise go unrecognised.
