We are seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher with experience in cancer biology and other relevant laboratory techniques to join the research group of Professor Xin Lu at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research.

You will work with Professor Xin Lu’s research group and will use spatial transcriptomics combined with single cell RNA-seq to study cellular plasticity, tumour heterogeneity and tumour microenvironment in oesophageal cancer samples. You will have experience in cell culture, molecular and cellular biology as well as basic molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning and sequencing. You will be able to manage your own academic research and associated activities, and have a first author publication in an international peer reviewed journal. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results and represent the research group at meetings.

This position is offered full time on a fixed term contract for 3 years in the first instance and is funded by Ludwig.

Applications are to be made online by 12.00 noon (UK time) on Monday 7 February 2022.
