Grade RSIV (Senior Researcher) - Competitive

The Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, Oxford Branch (Nuffield Department of Medicine) is seeking an established senior leader in the field of tumour biology, with a strong focus on in vivo tumour models. You will lead of group focusing on the development of a cancer research programme, with a view to translate findings to benefit patients.

A recognised authority, with an international reputation in the field, you will have a proven track record of scientific breakthroughs and have an appropriately impactful publication output. You will hold a PhD/DPhil and have significant experience at a senior level, a record of attracting and managing significant research income and a strong leadership background.

This post comes with the title of Associate Professor and the successful candidate will be supported to make an application for the title of Professor. This post is available on a fixed-term basis for 5 years, initially. Funding is provided by the Ludwig Core award.
